if u nvr focus, u might get hit by the ball..

we can make one junior come out and say his or her interests,class,name and why she join choir..
then the seniors call another junior to say out the above questions..
if they nvr listen.. they wun be able to answer le..
and they can noe them better..

firstly, i agree to what sixian said, the TRUST GAME!
we can have a smaller group playing tgt,
and throught this game,
trust can be learnt. (:
and we can be more bond tgt,
as we trust one another,
for the people to fall to our arms. (:
so, this game is suggested! (:


nexts, is the LONGEST LINE GAME!
this game is v. simple (:
first, we wil lget into groups,
and using all the material,
which belong to us,
to form the longest line,
and the group with the longest line will win!

through this game,
we will need to be bond together,
as we will need to work tgt,
to complete the task,
forming the longest line.

First time writing on Choir blog,
Feel quite nervous. Haha..

Okay, the reason I'm writing a post is because of Ms Fu told us to write 2 ideas on how we can bond with the Sec 1s during the Welcome Party on next Wed.

My 1st idea is...!!!!
PLAYING THE "TRUST" GAME THAT MS FU LAST TEACH US!!!!
Why?

Cos I learned that if u don't trust ur friends that are surrounding u,
And u don't try to let them "save" u,
U actually don't talk more to the person than u did to the others,
So it can actually also be a Bonding game,
As it lets u trust people,
And by trusting people,
Also means bonding with the people!!

My 2nd idea is...!!!!
RECOGNISING EACH OTHER'S VOICE
Why?

Cos it's like ur getting to know how ur friend's voice sound like,
Normally, we always think we know how each other sound like,
But if u pay much attention,
U actually don't really know how each other sound like.
So by listening to each other,
Is also a form of Bonding!!!

So I've done my pt of thinking,
So I'm going off now!! Bye Bye!!

So let's resolve to make a good performance for our upcoming concert, our upcoming SYF, and all the future events we're going to perform in, and to mention even in our choir practices okay? OKAY WHEN YOU READ THIS YOU HAVE MADE A PROMISE YOU CANNOT GO BACK ON YOUR WORD. muahaha~ XD

Okay, now for the big announcement :

OUR WELCOME PARTY FOR ALL OUR NEW CHOIR MEMBERS!!! *clap clap clap wooooo!*

It will start at 1.30pm, at the canteen, and we'll also be having some games at the AVA room!

HI this should have been said days ago but since today is our FIRST choir practice of 2009, I shall say it here then.

HAPPY NEW CHOIR YEAR 2009!

Take note, it is new CHOIR year, not new year...so in other words, this post is justified as NOT laggy! Hahaha... xD

Yes, today is our first choir practice of 2009, so let us resolve to be better choir members and improve not just in our singing but in our commitment as well okay?

This year is going to be a very very very busy and exciting year for the choir. If you look at our list of events on your right, you'll see that we have :

• A combined public performance with the Band, Dance Society and Guzheng Ensemble. Huge, eh? This is taking place on 27 February and the name of our concert is T.A.L.E.N.Z.
• Next, we're also going to perform on Speech Day which is on the 14th of March. Another important event as there will definitely be a Guest-of-Honour appearing along with many parents who will have their eyes wide open, observing our school from top to bottom.
• And, and, and, how can we forget? This is the biggest event we're working at : Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs aka SYF 2009. And dear choir members, we aim for a SILVER (or at least bronze. whatever it is we die-die must not drop in our performance standard).

And a whole lot more waiting to be unravelled as the year goes by...

So, choir, let's all work hard towards our Silver for SYF okay? Let's give it all we got! xD

PS: From now onwards, our choir practices will be on:

• Monday - 3pm
• Friday - 2pm

so do take note! Any special arrangements whatsover, we will update you and keep you informed.

PPSS: To sec 1s and those CCA-less - JOIN CHOIR! Please come to our booth during the CCA exhibition. To locate our booth, it's the area near the Canteen. Aiyah, just come to the ground floor and look out for a banner that says CHOIR.

Okay, that is all. OH WAIT. ONE MORE.

PPPSSS: Choir members, please remember to come this Thursday (8 Jan), 2pm, at the canteen, to do the banner. We need (and who's bringing what):

• 2 pieces of Drawing Block paper - Amanda
• Color Markers - Everyone bring
• Paints (& paintbrushes & palettes) - Everyone bring
• Crayons - Kai Wen and Shu Juan
• *Design => Cassandra
• *Sweets => Angela and Shu Juan
• *Paper boxes => Construction paper for folding them - Shu Juan and Amanda
• *Masking tape for taping the banenr - Amanda

PPPPSSSS : Don't forget about the Welcome Party that we have to plan to welcome in the new sec 1s joining us... xDxDxD
